Collage maker
Choose between nine layouts, five aspect ratios and any palette taken straight out of your photo — inset stripes, full-bleed stripes, 50/50 splits, a surrounding frame, overlaid chips or a gradient band. Edit the colors swatch by swatch, add hex labels, and download the result as a PNG.

A collage maker pairs the two halves of a composition: the photo and the colors taken from it. This one extracts a palette from your image, then places it beside, around or on top of the picture in nine layouts — inset stripes, full-bleed stripes, 50/50 splits, a surrounding frame, overlaid chips or a gradient band — at five aspect ratios, with the hex values optionally printed onto the colors. The collage is drawn on a canvas in your browser, so the preview is exactly the PNG you download.
Frequently asked questions
A sample photo loads with the page. Press “Browse image” — or drop a file on the frame — to use your own, slide “Picked palettes” to choose which of the five palettes extracted from the photo you want, then pick a layout and an aspect ratio. “Download collage” saves the result as a PNG at up to 1800 px on the long edge, named after the photo, the layout and the aspect ratio.
Good to know
- The palette is picked by clustering the photo’s pixels and ranking the biggest buckets, so the dominant tones come first; near-white tones are dropped, because a highlight is light rather than color.
- The same canvas serves as preview and export: what is on screen is what the PNG contains.
- Hex labels rotate to fit tall narrow stripes and are skipped when they would not fit legibly.
Tools that pair with Collage Maker
Collage Maker is one of 33 single-page tools in this workspace. These are the ones that carry the job on — the color value moves between them, so nothing gets retyped or re-uploaded.
